HARTLAND, Vt. -
State Police say a Hartland man not only was texting while driving, but he was drunk and high too.
A trooper drove up behind 27-year-old Sloan Smith on I-91 in Hartland Wednesday morning because he was weaving in the lane. Police say Smith failed a field sobriety test and admitted he had just left a friend's house where he'd been drinking and smoking pot. He also told the trooper he had been texting. He faces multiple charges.
