House fire in Richford

RICHFORD, Vt. -

A house fire in Richford displaced tenants Friday night.

It happened on Dewey Street around 8:30 p.m. It took crews about 2 hours to control the blaze. Fire officials say they believe the fire started near the wood stove but the cause is still being investigated. Renters were in the process of moving in. No one was injured.
