Police have charged a driver with hitting a Dartmouth College student who was lying in the roadway.
24-year-old Mikhail Lomakin was killed a month ago. His body was found in the middle of Interstate 91 in Hartford. Police say 47-year-old Shane Harlow of Hartford hit Lomakin, but didn't stop to help. He's charged with leaving the scene of an accident. Police have said that at least one and possibly two other vehicles also hit Lomakin that night. The grad student was last seen leaving a party.
It's still not clear why he was lying in the road.
