BARNET, Vt. -
The town of Barnet is debating whether to continue letting ATVs use town roads.
In an upcoming vote, Barnet residents will weigh in on whether to stick with an ordinance approved two years ago that allows ATVs on some town roads.
The Nov. 14 vote isn't binding but will serve as a guide for the town select board.
This comes after a resident who lives on one of the roads that ATVs may now use starting a petition, saying he's been seeing more of them on the roads and doesn't like the noise and dust.
