BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont, has been re-elected to another six years in the Senate.
Sanders defeated Republican candidate John MacGovern to win another term.
"Tomorrow we continue our effort to make sure that this country becomes the nation that all of us know that it can become. So thank you all very much," Sanders said.
