Aging school sales approved in Rutland

RUTLAND, Vt. -

Rutland voters approved the sale of two aging schools in the city.

The Dana School and Watkins Building will go up for sale, and according to the Rutland Herald the measure passed by a large margin.

The School Board approved the decision back in June, but needed voter approval.

The School Board hopes to sell the Dana School for $290,000.
