MONTPELIER, Vt. -
Montpelier may be a home to a
marijuana dispensary without input from residents.
The dispensary received a zoning
permit to set up shop on River Street. It does not have a lease yet. Because it
would go into an existing retail space, the dispensary proposal requires no
public hearing.
The city manager says opponents have until next Friday to
appeal and prove the dispensary violates zoning rules.
