NY woman pleads guilty to dognapping

A New York woman pleads guilty to dognapping charges.

Gibbs the dog was taken from the Springfield Humane Society on Sept. 14. A few days later, police in Charleston, N.H., found him unharmed.

The Rutland Herald reports Cynthia Poitras, 29, of Hoosick, told a friend Gibbs was a stray, but then the friend saw the Humane Society's Facebook post about the missing dog and called police.

Poitras served one night in jail for petty larceny.
