BRATTLEBORO, Vt. -
A Brattleboro man is going to prison for trying to trade an assault rifle for cocaine and heroin.
Police say back in March, Andrew Eames, 25, delivered an assault rifle to an informant in exchange for drugs prosecutors say he intended to distribute.
They say it was not the first time Eames had done this.
He now faces five years behind bars.
