Sheldon home destroyed by fire

SHELDON, Vt. -

A Sheldon family is homeless after an early morning fire.

Officials say the blaze broke out in the garage of the ranch-style house off Route 105 around 3 a.m. Sunday. Sheriffs were the first on scene and were able to rescue the sleeping family before the flames spread to the home. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
