Details on Vt. Air Guard's Afghanistan mission

COLCHESTER, Vt. -

New details on the Vermont Air Guard's mission in Afghanistan, which is set for the start of the new year.

Thirty Green Mountain Boys with the 158th fighter wing will serve as a public works department for airfields by maintaining heat and hot water and aircraft.

Colonel Michael Morgan says the company will deploy soon and serve overseas for six months.
