KILLINGTON, Vt. -
A wheelchair-accessible section of the Appalachian Trail is back open after being wiped out by Tropical Storm Irene.
The Thundering Falls boardwalk was washed away when the Ottauquechee River overflowed its banks during the storm.
The Green Mountain Club-- with help from the U.S. Forest Service-- rebuilt the 900-foot boardwalk and it is again open to the public.
