BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Vermont public libraries are great places for people of all ages to learn, but it's not easy to keep them funded. That leaves the libraries to hold benefits in order to do more than just maintaining their buildings and staff.
The Norman Williams Public Library in Woodstock is organizing a benefit to fund more than the bare essentials. Jennifer Belton is the executive director of the library. Samantha Spaulding is an administrative assistant. They appeared on The :30 to tell us about the benefit. Watch the video for more.
The Literary Salon Fundraiser is Nov. 16, 5:30-8:30 p.m., at the Norman Williams Public Library in Woodstock.
