DANVILLE, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say a 25-year-old man is dead after the vehicle he was driving went off U.S. Route 2 in Danville and hit a tree.
Police say Zachary Powers of Hardwick was pronounced dead at the scene of the 7:30 a.m. Wednesday crash.
The investigation found that Powers had been traveling eastbound, when he lost control of the vehicle, which crossed the road and hit a large tree.
The investigation is continuing.
