Wanted Massachusetts man arrested in Rutland

RUTLAND, Vt. -

A Massachusetts man will be in court in Rutland Thursday morning after U.S. Marshals, ATF and several Vermont police agencies tracked him down to a home on Meadow Street.

The Rutland Herald reports Stephen Rivest, 31, of Chicopee, is facing charges for a series of violent crimes in that state and was found hiding in a closet on Thursday afternoon.
