Vermont filmmakers are preparing to premiere their film on last year's winter that wasn't.
Meathead Films captured the struggling ski season in their latest piece, "No Matter What."
The production company strictly focuses on the East Coast and says the past winter was one of the worst they have seen, but filmmakers say they started this company because the ski movie industry was missing out.
"We decided to fill that void. We are from here, we grew up here. We shoot what we know and that is the East Coast. We only work with athletes from out here to show it is a great place to live and work," says Chris James who works with Meathead Films and with Ski the East
"We have great winters and we have bad winters and last year was one of the bad ones, and that is why the film is called no matter what," says fellow filmmaker Geoff McDonald.
The premiere of "No Matter What" is this weekend at the Big Picture Theatre in Waitsfield, on Saturday.
