UVM provost stepping down

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

University of Vermont provost and senior vice president Jane Knodell is stepping down.

Knodell says doing so will allow the school's new president, Tom Sullivan, to build his own management team.

Knodell became interim provost back in 2009.

She won't be going far. Knodell says she looks forward to going back to teaching economics full time.
