WEST DOVER, Vt. (AP) - An entrepreneur is interested in renovating and expanding a defunct airport in Vermont.
Jim Barnes, owner of the Hermitage Club and Inn, has the option to buy the land in West Dover, where the defunct Mount Snow Airport is. He would like to expand it and make it accessible to private jets.
But the Brattleboro Reformer reports some residents are concerned about noise and traffic.
An advisory committee has been formed to discuss short-term and long-term impacts of the airport.
