Posted: Updated:

A University of Vermont student admitted to setting a dormitory on fire.

22 year old Stanislas Stantchev pleaded guilty to unlawful mischief, and is now permanently suspended from the University.

Last month he set a trash can in Wills Hall on fire in the early morning hours. He was reportedly so drunk and high he doesn't remember doing it.

Stantchev was sentenced to time serve. He will also pay the $15,000 for repairs.
