BURLINGTON, Vt. -
City leaders in Burlington are looking at redrawing the city's political boundaries.
Each ward has two city councilors and each ward is supposed to contain about the same number of people. But the 2010 census shows some changes in population, so the city council is looking to redraw the lines to insure equal representation.
Four proposals are on the table that could see anywhere from four to seven wards and 10 to 14 councilors. A public forum on the proposals will be held Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Burlington City Hall.
