BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Passenger traffic at the Burlington airport continued to slump this fall.
The number of people using the airport dropped about 10 percent from this time last year. About 55-thousand people boarded planes there in October compared to more than 61-thousand the year earlier. The numbers follow a downward trend throughout the summer months. The number of passengers flying out of Burlington has been in a steady decline since peaking at more than 708,000 in 2009.
