Vt. police: Conn. father drove drunk with son in car

HARTLAND, Vt. -

A Connecticut father was busted in Vermont, accused of driving drunk with his son in the car.

Police say John Thorpe, 43, of Wallingford, Conn., was more than twice the legal limit when they pulled him over on Interstate 91 in Hartland Wednesday evening.

His 15-year old son was in the car.

Thorpe is charged with DUI and child endangerment.
