HANCOCK, Vt. (AP) - Two Vermont men and a woman remain jailed after being arraigned on methamphetamine charges following their arrest in Hancock.
Investigators said they made multiple controlled buys of powder meth from a home in Hancock. The investigation indicated the meth was being made at the home and that the hazardous material that it produces was being dumped and burned on the property.
On Wednesday, Michael Wood, 44, and Steven Arnold, 20, were arraigned after their Tuesday arrest at Wood's home in Hancock on methamphetamine conspiracy charges. Wood was being held on $75,000 bail, Arnold $20,000.
Police also arrested Meegan Smith, 32, of Hancock, on an outstanding warrant from New York. She was being held for lack of $100,000 bail. She also has two arrest warrants from Vermont.
