RUTLAND, Vt. (AP) - Police say a Vermont teenager has been accused of shooting a pellet from an air gun through the door of a martial arts studio, hitting an instructor in the leg.
The 16-year-old Rutland boy was arraigned on Monday on misdemeanor charges of simple assault and reckless endangerment.
The Rutland Herald reports the incident happened on Sept. 25 at the Merchants Row karate studio in Rutland.
The instructor was not seriously injured, but was able to take down the license plate number of the car the pellet was fired from. The teen was one of several in the car.
