Man clocked going 125 mph on I-89

MILTON, Vt. -

A St. Albans man has been cited for driving nearly twice the speed limit on Interstate 89.

21 year old Ethan Newton was taken into custody in Milton near the Lamoille River Bridge. Police say he was traveling 125 miles per hour.

Newton was arrested for negligent operation and is due in court at a later date.
