Services set for former Congressman Martin

CANTON, N.Y. -

Funeral arrangements have been announced for former New York Congressman David Martin.

He died last week after a long illness. He was 68.

Martin represented the North Country in Congress from 1981 to 1993.

Calling hours will be Monday, 12-8 p.m., at the O'Leary Funeral Home in Canton. The funeral will be the following day at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Canton. The service will begin at 11 a.m.

Martin will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
