UVM student recovering after jump from dorm window

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

A University of Vermont student injured when he jumped out of a third floor dorm window is out of the hospital. UVM police tell us Mack Sullivan, 18, is back home recovering from his injuries.

Two weeks ago, police responded to a noise complaint at Sullivan's dorm room. And while police were talking to him, he went out the window. Witnesses say he went head-first.

Sullivan is due in court for allegedly possessing drugs and alcohol, a violation of conditions of release from a different charge this summer.
