Dover buys land addition for recreational trail

DOVER, Vt. -

Dover residents are getting an addition to a popular recreational path in their town.

The town bought the lot near the Valley Trail, a 5-mile long scenic pathway connecting the Mount Snow ski area with West Dover, for $150,000.

The town says it plans to develop that land for recreational use and begin work in the spring.
