Vt. Police: Gold merchant bought stolen goods

SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -

A gold merchant was busted for buying stolen items.

Vermont State Police say Prasad Durga Dhakal, 38, of Winooski, knew he was buying stolen jewelry and electronics at the Cash for Gold store at the University Mall in South Burlington. Police say they began investigating the Cash for Gold store after multiple thieves told them that's where they went to sell items they'd stolen.
