BURLINGTON, Vt. -
A new play premieres Thursday night in Burlington. "The Moreau Horrors" was written by a local playwright, and loosely adapted from the novel "The Island of Dr. Moreau" by H.G. Wells. The play is being called a comedic musical with very creative setting.

The play starts Nov. 29 and runs through Dec. 8 at the Black Box Theatre in Burlington. There are shows Thursday-Saturday at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee on Saturdays at 2 p.m. Click here for more on "The Moreau Horrows."
