Pipeline connects Guilford, Brattleboro water systems

GUILFORD, Vt. -

A new pipeline connecting Guilford and Brattleboro water systems is now ready for use.

The Brattleboro Reformer is reporting project officials say the water tests are complete. The line travels Route 5 bringing the municipal water system into the town of Guilford.

Voters approved building line extensions to reach the volunteer fire department and community church.

Officials say anyone interested in connecting to the line will need to seek permission from both towns, and the state. They are planning a public meeting to explain the tap-in process.
