FRANCONIA, N.H. (AP) - A 52-year-old man has suffered cuts after losing control of a tractor truck on Interstate 93 in Franconia.
Police say Richard Dugas of Dewy Rose, Ga., was thrown from the vehicle when it jackknifed and struck a guardrail just after 6:15 p.m. Thursday. The trailer was empty.
Police say it was snowing heavily at the time of the crash and Dugas was driving at a speed too fast for the slippery road.
I-93 north was closed for two hours while the tractor trailer was removed.
