Deal between UVM, part-time faculty

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

The union representing part-time faculty at the University of Vermont says the two sides have reached a tentative contract agreement.

United Academics says the agreement covers salary, health benefits and issues related to promotion, employment security and professional development. Details will be announced once union members vote next month and the UVM Board of Trustees signs off, as well.
