CORNISH, N.H. -
The hunter almost became the prey after an unusual accident in the Upper Valley.
Fifty-Four year-old Everett Gray of Cornish, New Hampshire was gored by a white-tailed deer last week after he shot it.
Gray reportedly shot the eight point buck and was trying to finish if off with a knife, when the deer lunged at him, piercing his abdomen, lifting him off the ground and pushing him down a hill.
Gray was treated at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Family and friends were able to recover the buck and bring it home.
