Earle Raymond
A Wolcott man will serve two months in jail for stealing copper wiring.
Thirty-seven year-old Raymond Earle has been sentenced to 60 days in jail for stealing nearly 14-thousand worth of copper wire on several occasions from the old Lowell Asbestos Mine and then selling it to a Hardwick metal company.
Earle was picked up last month after nearly ramming a police cruiser and leading police on a two-county chase. His accomplice, Shane Phillips of Johnson, remains at large and has been wanted by police for years.
