Castleton constable nabbed for deer poaching

CASTLETON, Vt. -

A law man from Castleton is accused of deer poaching.

A game warden said last month he watched Scott Stevens bait and then hunt a deer from a stand in Castleton. According to the warden, Stevens works for the Corrections Department, is a constable in Castleton and a part-time police officer in Fair Haven. He's due in court in January.
