Recount confirms winner of Vt. Senate seat

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Vt. -

A recount in the Franklin County Senate race has affirmed the original results.

The recount started last week to determine the winner of the second Franklin County Senate seat.

On Election Day, Democrat Don Collins beat Republican Dustin Degree by 25 votes.

The recount showed Collins winning by 35 votes.
