Technology has changed many things over the years, but something you might not expect is the role it plays when it comes to adoption.
Friends in Adoption is a local business helping mothers and adoptive families. About 40-50 families adopt per year, and 50 more are on a waiting list. Using Facebook and MySpace, adopted children have found ways to connect with their biological parents and families. Dawn Smith-Pliner is founder and executive director of Friends in Adoption.
