DERBY, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing Derby woman.
Police say 24-year-old Desiree Shannon was last seen leaving her residence to go see a friend on Monday afternoon. She said she would return Tuesday morning but has not come back.
Her family has not had any contact with her since Monday.
She's described as 5 feet tall, weighing 175 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair that is partially died black. She was last seen wearing dark pants or blue jeans and a dark colored hooded sweat shirt with a fox on the left side.
Anyone with information about her is asked to the Vermont State Police Derby barracks at 802-334-8881.
UPDATE: Vermont State Police say missing woman has been located.
