BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Getting into the University of Vermont may become easier for Vermonters.
New President Tom Sullivan wants the admissions office make it more difficult for out-of-state applicants.
This year the school accepted 76% of applicants. In an effort to improve quality and affordability, Sullivan wants to reduce that percentage to 65%.
Selectivity for Vermonters will not change, but it will for out of state applicants.
