Vt. police catch suspect in armed robberies

WINOOSKI, Vt. -

A man suspected in a string of break-ins and stickups is now in police custody.

Marshals and the Vermont Violent Offender Task Force nabbed Jason Cannon Tuesday in Winooski.

We told you about Cannon last week as authorities launched a manhunt in Franklin County.

Police are now holding him on an escape charge because they say he cut off his electronic monitoring bracelet.
