POULTNEY, Vt. -
A barber who busted a pair of bank robbers is now being named Person of the Year in Poultney.
Jeffrey Roberts saw some shady characters through his barbershop window in November of last year, noticing they were wearing hoods on a very sunny day. He wrote down the New Jersey license plates, and police caught the pair, who were responsible for multiple bank robberies in the area.
The Rutland Herald reports the Poultney Chamber of Commerce named him Person of the Year, and are holding a celebration in his honor this Saturday.
