BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Volunteers from Vermont and upstate New York are returning from assisting with Superstorm Sandy recovery efforts.
The volunteers are employees of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Vermont Service Center in St. Albans and Essex Junction. Since early November, they have been assisting people in the New York City area affected by the storm.
They resided in one of several ships docked at Staten Island.
The group is returning Friday afternoon and is scheduled to speak with reporters at Burlington International Airport.
