BURLINGTON, Vt. -

The Nutcracker is a classic Christmas ballet. But now the story and style are taking a turn, from ballet slippers to hip-hop sneakers. It's called "Hip Hop Nutcracka - 2012 Remix."
Two of the many dancers in the production came on The :30 to tell us more. Ernest "E-Knock" Phillips plays the Nutcracker and one of his hip-hop dancers, Lylah Farr, plays a soldier, jolly rancher, and a raggedy Ann doll. Watch the video for more.
