BARRE, Vt. - Four hockey teams joined forces for two great games and one great cause Saturday.
A hockey doubleheader was held at the BOR Ice Arena in Barre. The Spualding girls team hosted Missisquoi, while the Spaulding boys faced U-32.
The games also served as a fundraiser for Vermont Make-A-Wish. The proceeds raised were believed to be between $3000-$3500 for the group.
In the games, the Spaulding girls edged Missisquoi 2-1, while the U-32 boys scored twice in the final twenty seconds to rally and beat the Tide 5-4.
