The man who led the fight for Vermont to become an independent nation has died.
Thomas Naylor began his secessionist movement a decade ago. The retired economics professor believed that the United States was not on a sustainable path and that Vermont could go it alone.
Naylor died last week after suffering a stroke. He was 76-years old.
