Fire captain charged with sexual assault on teen

BENNINGTON, Vt. -

A Vermont fire captain is facing sexual assault charges involving a 13-year-old girl.

Bryan Watson, 25, of the Bennington Rural Fire Department pleaded not guilty in court Monday.

Police say the Watson participated in sexual activities with the girl more than 10 times in the summer of 2011.

Watson told police the girl used to visit him at home, but he denied any inappropriate contact.
