A major drug sweep in Franklin County, N.Y., Wednesday.
Local, state and federal authorities arrested a dozen suspects. They are charged with selling and possessing a variety of drugs, including prescription medication and cocaine.
A press release from the New York State Police says the following suspects as arrested and charged:
Timothy M. Machin, 33, Moira, NY
Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd (2 counts) - Oxycodone
Arraigned in the town of Bangor in front of Judge Frederick Boardway.
Committed to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
Melissa A. Cook, Age 46, Malone, NY
Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd - Morphine
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd - Morphine
Arrested on a warrant from the town of Bangor.
Arraigned in the town of Bangor in front of Judge Frederick Boardway.
Committed to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
Edward G. Cummings, Age 56, Westville, NY
Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 4th - Vicodin
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th - Vicodin
Arrested on a Warrant from the town of Westville.
Arraigned in the town of Bangor in front of Judge Frederick Boardway.
Committed to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
