LEICESTER, Vt. -

Police say a year-and-a-half long investigation in Leicester led them to three suspects selling a lot of drugs.

Jill Smith of Middlebury, Zebulon Brinkman of Vergennes and Brian Cumberbatch of New York City now face multiple charges.

Police say Cumberbatch would travel to Vermont with thousands of dollars worth of heroin and stay for a few days to sell it.

A raid Tuesday at a home in Leicester turned up a stolen gun, 300 bags of heroin, and $3,600 cash.
