Keith explains his mother made bark when Keith and his siblings were young so they could give them out to their teachers as Christmas gifts. 12oz. chocolate bits (any variety)
1 cup walnuts, almonds, crushed peppermints, or dried cranberries or a combintation of your choice.
1. Microwave bits in covered glass bowl for 2 to 4 minutes until they are shiny and stir easily.
2. Remove from microwave and mix in one cup of preferred toppings until they are completely coated.
3. Thinly spread mixture on wax paper.
5. Break into pieces once bark is hard.
